The region’s longest running industry event will take place on the 20th and 21st February 2017 in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain. For more than a decade, the Forum has played a key role in helping to shape and drive industry advancement by taking an in-depth look at the challenges and opportunities facing regional insurers and the path forward to further growth and development.

MEIF brings together the largest gathering of senior insurance executives and experts from across the industry making the Forum an unmatched platform for networking and for the sharing of knowledge, exchange and dialogue. The Forum expects to attract the participation of more than 400 global and regional insurance and Takaful leaders in addition to relevant industry associations, central bank representatives and regulators, economists, thought leaders, researchers and academics along with high-level dignitaries.

For the past 13 years, MEIF has served as a guide to help determine the direction of the regional insurance industry and help executives in strategic planning for the future. It brings together international and local insurers and other experts to deliberate the state of global and regional insurance markets. MEIF 2017 Themes
MEIF 2017 will look closely at topics of key relevance to regional insurers including obstacles impeding more rapid growth and strategies for further expansion and industry advancement. In doing so, topics to be featured at this year’s flagship two-day event include:
